Upgrade multiserver install CS 5.3.6 - 6.5.2

Question

Hi, All!

We have instaled a single repository in multiserver install of CS 5.3.6.

Two physical server with CS 5.3.6, both connected to shared storage and database, each instance of CS has it own server config.

We decided to upgrade CS 5.3.6 to CS 6.5.2.

Is this right steps?

1. Stop both CS (docbase,docbroker,JMS)
   2. Backup DB and content storage
   3. Upgrade software on first CS
   4. Upgrade docbroker on first CS
   5. Upgrade docbase on first CS
   6. Upgrade software on second CS
   7. Upgrade docbroker on second CS

What i should do with docbase on second CS? since I will have already upgraded it on first CS

Please read the Content Server Installation Guide first (Chapter 6, Upgrading Content Server).

The correct steps are out-lined for the various operating systems.

Your steps will work.

But you can also upgrade both C/S's first, before upgrading the rep...
