using the word EDITION in directory comparison

I'm trying to get OD 551 with SP 2 to work (Solaris version) and need some help. I'm trying to deploy a few directories from the latest EDITION. I'm trying to implement a directory comparison, so e.g. my OD xml config shows
tags like <sourcFilesystem area="//IWSERVER/default/main/acceptance/EDITION/propertiesCM filelist="">
When I start the deployment, the log shows an error message:
ERROR: IWDirent(IW_OPEN,/iwmnt/default/main/acceptance/EDITION/web/html) - err=2, errno=2
ERROR: prepare-failed.
Receiver-ERROR: ERROR: Client specified bad local path
.
ERROR: Failed to deploy local_directory[.] of area[/iwmnt/default/main/acceptance/EDITION/propertiesCM]

It looks like OD does not understand "EDITION", however this should be solved in SP1 and I'm using SP2.....

What am I doing wrong?

Your source area path should end in ".../EDITION", with no directory (ie, "propertiesCM") after the word "EDITION". This will select the latest edition as the source area.

To select specific files in the source area, add the area-relative path of the files to be deployed into the filelist file. IOW, move the "propertiesCM" string out of your area path and into each file listed in the filelist file.
