Hi
I am trying to run iwgen command from commandline .
command is as follows:
iwgen -t /interwoven/iwmnt/default/main/UAT/WORKAREA/MobilityKK/templatedata/Intranet/weather/presentation/weather.tpl -r /interwoven/iwmnt/default/main/UAT/WORKAREA/MobilityKK/templatedata/Intranet/weather/data/qdqdqw /test/test.html 1>&2 2>&1
this gives me the follwoing error
/test/test.html: could not create
please advise what may be the possible reason.
I am running TS 6.5 SP1 on SOLARIS 8

What directory are you running the command from? Do you have permission to create a file in that directory? Check to see if you can create a file by doing: touch myfile.file. If it creates a file you hve permission to write there.
Does a test directory exist as a sub directory under your current directory? It looks to me like you are trying to create a file in a test directory. Try removing the test/ from the file name and see if that works, or create that directory if it doesn't.

The path you indicate for the output file must be a VPATH (corresponding to a Backing-store).
If you need to generate somewhere else, I think you can use iwodstream

I have tried the touch command and it works fine. also if i give some path in /iwmnt backing store for ts then also similar error appears... i am trying to run this command from root can you please advise
