.NET error while installing 4.5 SP1 Hot Folders

Media Bin 4.5 SP1
SQL Server 2000 SP4
Windows 2003 EE

I am trying to get a test server up and running that is brand new. I have installed the media Bin Server, Enterprise Manager, Web Client and Web Service. All worked successfully.

I am getting the following error while attempting to install the hot folder package:
The Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1is required to install this product

The weird thing is, .NET 1.1.4322.573 is installed on this machine, as I am able to launch the .NET Framework 1.1 Configuration utility from the Administrative Tools menu.

Any ideas or what log file I can look at that would be throwing this message?

Very strange, but I was running the installer from a mapped network drive and it was unable to realize the local server had the .NET framework installed. I copied the install file locally and was able to get it to work.

I've had this problem, too, and even have a Support Case open for it...
