How to generate Barcode on High fdelity form

Hi ,

Have any one worked on Barcode in High Fidelity form .

I did not find any document on High fidelity forms .

Am using form builder/taskspace 6.6

I have created a HighFidelity form with a bar code .

My requirement is to generate barcode value based on r_object_id of the document created .

How is it possible to set the document object id to ' Input Value ' of High fidelity form , Because barcode is generated based on 'Input value ' attribute on the form .

Hi,

As far as I remember you need just to map (in Process Data Mapping activity for example) some value to the binded variable to the barcode (in your case this is /demo_ff_sm/Code5of%IndustrialBarCode1).

Have you tried this?

I have not binded to nay data for the form .

Can you please give me some idea on what value i need to bind the data .

Any HiFi form is like a usual electonic form.

The 'Input value' field fo HiFi-form is like 'Default value' field of e-form.

So, to update the value of the barcode you need to update the value of the data item binded to this barcode:

For example, you could map a value by Process Data Mapping Activity:

- create a process

- create the process package with type = of the HiFi type (it could be or some cutom type or just 'XML Instance',

and map your form to it:

- map some value to the Code2of5IndustrialBarCode1 attribute.

So you will got the barcode with the value = value of the 'Var0' process variable.

It worked well but when i mapped the barcode with objectid it ts taking as numeric only ignoring alphabetical characters on the output form .

But my users will go to taskspace and create high fidelity form instance containing barcode as in attached screen .

Please let me know if this is possible in any other means .

Just choose another bar-code which can take not only numbers (f.e. PDF417).
