How can I map and update an attribute of the attached document in a workflow using Process Data Mapp

Hi,

I need to update an attribute value of the attached document in a workflow as it passes through the workflow from one activity to another. The EMC expert Johnny Gee says this can be done using Process Data Mapper activity of the Process Builder without custom coding. My question is how can I do this? Please give me the steps. I could not find any information about mapping procedure in the Process Builder documents. If you have, please post it here.

When I open Process Data Mapping activity, I see the attached screen. Please give me some steps from here. I need to update the attribute 'ecr_approver' with the name of the activity performer and also update another attribute called 'ecr_status' with some hard-coded text like "In Process". Please see the attachment. How can I do this?

Please share your knowledge and experience.

Try reading the xCP Best Practices Guide. There are some tips in there on how to use Process Data Mapper.

Using Process Data Mapping activity I could use "Get Value" function to get value of performer (or performer name) into my custom attribute, but I need to get next performer/next performer name into my custom attribute. How can I get it? Where can I find the detailed explanation of all functions available in Process Data Mapping activity as well as all other activities in the Process Builder?
