Location for JS, perl & wft files

Hi all,
We are creating a multilingual site using teamsite.
Branch Structure:-
We have different branches for different languages.
Problem: -
We want to use some js , perl files. Now we can either keep them in separate folders inside different branches or we can create a common branch for such things....What is the best way to handle this scenario..and what are the best practices in general being follwed across projects for such issues.On the same lines what shuld be the location for WFT files as well...(if in case it is not possible to use them across branches by just putting them in local/config/wft folder)

I would suggest you have a common branch for js and images that are shared assets of multiple websites. You can use rewrite rules to ensure that these are always requested from the common branch when previewing/virtualizing in TeamSite.

I would presume that your common branch would have several different deployment targets so that the files in it could be sent to all of the webservers for all of your different language sites.

On the same lines what shuld be the location for WFT files as well...(if in case it is not possible to use them across branches by just putting them in local/config/wft folder)

You can configure which branches workflows are available in by modifying local/config/wft/available_templates.cfg. A single workflow can be used in several differenr branches branches.
