Can I get any document that describes comparison of xml store and file store. I need to evaluate both to decide which one to go for.

You could start with the EMC Documentum XML Store datasheet. Next (or alternatively) you could search ECN, www.EMC.com, and/or the EMC support site, using relevant search terms like 'XML store file store documentum'.
