Is there a way to filter specific links from REST response

Hi All,

I have gone through REST services development guide 7.2 and understood that the response can be filtered for object type and object properties.

I am trying to find out is there a way to filter specific link from the default response.

Ex: I don't require self, edit, parent and etc but I require only contents.

Links can not be filtered, but can be turned on or off. In the future release, you will be allowed to customize core REST resource representations, including remove specific link relations.
