additional deployment targets to OOTB filelist deployment?

Using TeamSite 6.5/OD6.1

I am looking for suggestions on the best way to add additional nodes to the OOTB sample filelist deployment at /iw-home/local/config/wft/solutions/wft_opendeploy.* . Since variables are being passed into the deployment configuration (wft_opendeploy.xml) file, there does not appear to be a simple way of adding another replication farm. Any thoughts?

How do you want to do this, exactly? It can be either hard-coded or passed in as a variable. If your needs are that complex, the spec can even be built by some external script and then invoked.

More background information is necessary.
