Livesite Uninstall problems

Environment:
Livesite : 2.1.0.1
Teamsite : 6.5 SP1
Solaris 8

I tried uninstalling Livesite with the following command :
/ls-home/iwinstall/products/LiveSite/UninstallerData/.Livesite

The livesite uninstall program ran successfuly without giving an error.
But the Livesite Store is not removed from the backing store. Can anyone explain is this the normal behavior of the Uninstall of Livesite ?

But after uninstalling the Livesite i was not able to create new sites, pages, templates and compnents. So it has really unistalled the Livesite application. But not the Livesite Store. Is this the normal behavior ?

This is the normal behavior -- the uninstaller removes the program code but does not delete any of your data (such as sites you created and components you might have customized).

This is particularly important if you are planning to upgrade -- the migration scripts expect to find sites, pages, templates, components, etc. in those particular branches and directories.
