loadable object for module ?

Can't locate loadable object for module XML::LibXML::Common in @INC (@INC contains: c:/Interwoven/iw-home/iw-perl/lib c:/Interwoven/iw-home/iw-perl/site/lib C:\Interwoven\iw-home\iw-perl\vendor\lib .) at XML/LibXML.pm line 11

Trying to load a PM to read excel spreadsheets. Been installing various dependancies. Now I have this error.

I have XML::LibXML::Common.pm as well as other LibXML pms. What should I have for a loadable object ?

Reading common.pm there is no code, rather only comments and this line:

L, L<:libxml>, L<:gdome>
[/html]

What is it looking for ?

I've seen this message when I just copied a module and didn't either 1) run the build script that comes with it or 2) use the cpan or ppm clts to install it. It seems like it is looking for a binary of some kind, and you either have to make it or install it.

That is the case. Where is ppm ? It does not appear to be installed with iwperl.

I think for iwperl you have to use "cpan"...on my windows install its at iw-home\iw-perl\bin\cpan.bat

I am running on a vmare image inside a XP box. FTP does not seem to be passed through vmware networks. I have to see if I can get lynx or something else.

That is the case. Where is ppm ? It does not appear to be installed with iwperl.

iwperl comes with cpan only - it does not come with ppm.
there should probably be a feature request for it - but I don't see it changing anytime soon.
