Exporting Business Objects does not seem to work - version 9.0.3.3

When I try and export a business object, a business object is exported but it always the same object, regardless of which one is selected - and as it happens not the one that I would like to export!  Anyone else encountered this?

    I thought that I had that problem but when I looked carefully, I found that it had exported every BO definition and hence imported every BO definition.  You have to delete the ones you don't want after you have imported them.

     

    The name of the file it creates is a bit misleading.  It looks like it uses the name of the first BO in the inventory list.

    Thanks for the heads up on this - you are correct, all BOs get exported regardless of which one is selected, therefore if you are only interested in a selection of BOs you have to edit the package file.

     

    Importing the package works fine when there are no other BOs defined in a project, but it seems to cause all sorts of havoc if another BO has already been defined.  The imported BOs are not listed in the inventory and although listed in the design pane cannot be accessed without causing and error or exception.....

     

    There seems to be some bugs around the implementation of this feature - can I ask Metastorm whether there are any known defects around this functionality?

    I'm not sure if this is fixed in latest release but this feature is useless with this bug.

    I've not tried this recently but I agree that these issues make this functionality useless.
