Process Activator 9.2 Connection Problem
Using Process Activator, I am trying to connect to my metadata service to activate my web service.
Error connecting to process metadata service
System.web.services.protocol.SoapException: Server was unable to process request --> System.ArgumentNullException:
Unale to read connection string from registry
Any suggestions please?

Hi Barrie,
If you copy and paste your MetaData Service Url into a browser does it resolve and bring up all the exposed web methods?
http://localhost/Metastorm.Common.ProcessMetadataService/ProcessMetadata.asmx

Hi Barrie,
After verifying that the service is "browsable", please ensure all Metastorm related app pools in IIS are set to "Enable 32-bit applications=True" under the app pool's "Advanced" properties. I've seen that error thrown because the process activator is looking in the wrong registry hive for the connection string (should be WOW6432Node). It knows to look there on a 64-bit system because of that app pool setting.

Thanks Phil & Tony - I changed the "Enable 32-bit" section of the Metastorm App Pools and it works now
Cheers

Hi all,
We have a Metastorm 9.2 installation on a 64-bit environment. When we try to expose a process with the process activator we receive the following error "System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Unable to retrieve data from the metadata service".
We tried to follow the solution proposed in this thread but it doesn't work. Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance
