Getting Error while opening Content AppConsole

Hi,

I have installed Vignette Content 7.5 with Sql server 2000 database but after login to App Console I am getting the below mentioned error.

The following application error(s) occurred:

Error selecting alarm(s)

Error rendering role-based action menu links: 05/05/10 14:23:02:891, Error 4(Fatal Error), Message 026-205-0026:Error loading role-based home page actions.

Please let me know how can I fix that any help would be highly appreciated.

Typically this is related to a database issue. If you are using SQLServer2000 please check that you have installed at least SP4. Also, please check that DB is up and running, and XA transaction is enabled for the DB and driver.
If problem persists, please do not hesitate to open a support ticket.

Hi Parag,

This error might indicate a connection issue with the database.Could you ensure that the DB is up and then try restarting the VCM.

If that doesn’t help, would recommend opening aVOLSS ticket with debug logs attached.

Restarting the database and then the VCM may be able to get youout of below issues.

Most probably your license key has expired. Please check the expiry date of license in config console. We have seen menu rendering issues on license expiry.
