we are using a Moderation process (OOB) that was installed as part of the Social Communities installation. we are not really using Social Communities, but are using API calls to interface directly with Collaboration.
The behaviour we are observing is that items approved and added to a discussion thread are being added successfully but it appears that the system is not detecting a “change” as we are not receiving a subscription email.
We have narrowed down the issue to the Moderation process as we are able to successfully add discussion items and receive subscription email updates back if we remove the “moderation process” from the flow.
Can you help us to see if this problem is product related or is there a missing step in the moderation workflow to specifically fire off the email event ?
