Core designer and Captiva designer cannot be installed together?!

I am trying to install the core capture designer and getting this error.

Any ideas on how to bypass this so that I don't have to get other machine or VM.

Because Core Capture and InputAccel, now Intelligent Capture, are sister products and share files etc, they cannot be installed on the same machine. Please see this snippet of documentation from the Core Capture Designer Guide.

Hi Jeff, I understand but I don't like it. Now I need another extra machine of VM just to run a designer. or Need to uninstall / install every time I need it. mmmmh. room for improvement.

Submitted a new feature request to product management to add this to a future release if technically possible.

The long-term plan is to replace the Core Capture Designer with an entirely web-based UI. This isn't on an official, published roadmap yet, but it is pretty high priority in our backlog.
