Webtop is based on Java. There is no dependency to .NET Framework.

The OP might be talking about PIA framework that allowed you to launch and integrate MS Office apps from Webtop. I believe PIA framework was no longer supported after 6.0 (or even 6.5)

Here, the context is .net framework which allows internet explorer helper object to get install add-ons to provide smooth experience while accessing webtop, but I am not sure if webtop 6.7 will support.net framework upgrade from 4.5.2 to 4.7.2 . currently net framework 4.5.2 is installed in our servers
