Hi There,

I am working on a Salesforce xECM project using Brava Viewer and I have some questions/comments:

Is there a URL that can be used to force the Smart UI-based Brava Viewer? Right now the
?func=brava.bravaviewer&nodeid={nodeid}
format only renders in the class Desktop ui-variant instead of the DesktopUX2 ui-variant used by Smart UI.

Is there a way to create an audit event for Publish events? - The Smart UI ui-variant will force users to create a markup before publishing the markup. This creates an audit event for the markup - but there is no audit even for publish (which means that if you publish to a new document there is no document referencing - which smells like a compliance gap).

Is there a way to configure the Brava Viewer to create an elegant fallback if the Mimetype is not supported? The suggested configuration option is
?func=brava.bravaviewer&nodeid={nodeid}.
For now, I have created a WebReport link instead that will read the mime type from the document and either direct a user to the property screen or the Brava Viewer - but again it seems like a gap in the product.

Provide the user with some feedback when publishing a document. When you publish a document using the Brava Viewer and you have the option to save - the button doesn't disable when clicked giving the user no feedback as to when the create document or version add event has been completed.

Hi Guys,

We recently came across an issue whereby the Schedule Processor (processing document moves from Salesforce to OT) just stopped and now reporting an error:

Block could not be extracted - error: com.sforce.ws.SoapFaultException: No service available for class 'ECMLinkSPI'

From the SF side:

the package is correctly deployed

the login entries are successful

the user account has the correct Permission Sets applied.

And the on the CS side:

Business Application connects fine (version of 52 of the API)

Workspaces are still being created

And we have even re-created the Scheduled Processor job.

We are not seeing logs turn up on the sfecmlink-spi_Network.log file but we are seeing them in the xecmpfbulk.log

We have raised a ticket with support - but just reaching out to the community to see if anyone else has run into this kind of issue before.

Thanks Again

Matthew

Hi There,

I am assisting a customer with an issue. The issue appears to be that when Content Server is under load (say a lot of cases are being created) there are circumstances where:

A Workspace will be created but the xecm__BusinessObjectWorkspace__c along with the data is not recorded.

There is no hard error

There is a record in the logs that there was a time-out.

This leaves the solution in a situation where values in the number of xecm__BusinessObjectWorkspace__c objects in Salesforce do not match what is being recorded in the ECMLINK_WKSP_UNION view in Content Servers db.

At the moment the plan is to have an agent that will query this view and upsert the delta on a continual basis to Salesforce - but it seems that this might be a gap that is better served being solved within the solution.

I am wondering if other people have seen this issue before.

Regards,

Matthew Barben
