how does LEAP apps documents get integrated with existing documentum system ? For example, Loan application has been finalized and company wants to transfer or get all those documents in the backend system for future reference or auditing purpose.  How does the interfacing will work with LEAP apps.

    Hi ,

Very good questions and we appreciate you sharing them with us.

    • With LEAP SNAP, they can use the CMIS Exporter to upload documents and metadata to any CMIS compatible content management system including Documentum. These documents would need to be scanned/imported into SNAP, metadata extracted, verified, and then exported to Documentum via SNAP CMIS Export.
    • With Courier, currently there is no interface to do this, however with Courier API that will be in beta soon,  this would be possible. Script could use Courier API to access the data and documents from Courier, then use another REST API to upload to Content Management Service such as D2 Rest, or even a CMIS API.
    • Also Courier will  be integrated with xCP via the API, see https://community.emc.com/message/942278.
    • The Express app is currently in Beta an has no functionality to "transfer or get all those documents in the back end system for future reference or auditing purpose". It is light weight app and will only allow browsing folders for documents, rejecting/approving tasks, viewing favorites, offline documents, searching, and setting up out of office forwarding, etc.

    Thanks

IS there anything further that we can assist with? If not, I will go ahead and mark this discussion as answered.

    Thanks.
