Regarding EMC documentum rest api search template

Hey I was trying to create a rest client to consume EMC docuemtum services in python. I want to perform search query to search a specific folder in the rest api. Can anyone tell me how to do this in python or guide me how to create a http request which Im searching for the key word

At the lower right side is a link to zip file that has REST samples. How to call these using python, you will need to go find python tutorial, which is outside of the scope of Opentext forums.

I cannot view the provided link either (permissions problem page is returned). Also getting a 405 when attempting to go to Karen's "update your account" link. Why is there different permissions on the linked forum discussion than on this one?
