Unable to login using iPhone

I’m having issues in log-on into Core on my iOS device.
I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the app two times but same “invalid credentials” error message.
But if I switch to Safari on my iOS device I have no issues and I can log-on.
Any suggestion?

  • Hi Paolo,

Good day and thank you for posting.

I understand that you are having an issue logging in to your iOS device from Core and I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble.

There are two server environments that CORE is deployed to; one is Europe and the other is North America.  From the iOS CORE application, there is a drop down menu to choose from.

Can you try logging to the other option?  If you tried Europe and it was failing, try North America, or vice versa.

I believe that's what causes the issue, otherwise, please tell me the test result so I can find the right resolution for you.

    Have a nice day, ahead!

  • Hi Marlon,

I experienced the same issue on my iphone: I can only login through North America.
I would definitely prefer to login through 'Europe'.
    Is this issue being addressed?

    Thanks
  • Hi Pieter,

    Thank you for posting.

The above mentioned is not actually a bug. Core application is deployed in two data centers; one in Europe and one in North America. If your tenant is assigned to North America, there is no way for you to optionally log in via Europe data center.

Thanks, Marlon and just to clarify for you, Pieter, for reasons of data sovereignty and privacy of information, the environments for Core (EU and NA) are completely separate. Content can only reside (and be shared) from the same environment.

If you prefer the EU environment, you can use your same email address to create a new account at core.opentext.eu. If you have content in the North American tenant of Core, you would need to download/sync that to your desktop and then re-upload it to the EU environment. I know this can be a lot of work, but due to the stipulations of various regulations, it is the only way.

    Kind regards,

  • Thanks for your clear answers Marlon and Jay, and sorry for my late reply.
I understand the reason now. I will make a new account.
