If we have following in Documentum System

  1. Content Server (7.x
  2. Database Server (oracle 12)
  3. Application Server ( Webtop 6.8 Customized on Tomcat )
  4. Index Server (Xplore 1.x)
  5. Rendition Server (CTS 7.x)

Requirement is to set up same system as the previous one with same OS, same Documentum version.

1.Is there any standard way suggested by Documentum to do so?
2.Is cloning VM of all the environments is a good practice?
3.Is it right way to clone Content and Database server VM and use fresh installation for remaining?
4.Is it right way to freshly set up all the environments and move the required content ,metadata and artifacts from old system

What are the Pros and Cons for Approach 2,3 and 4
