Problem with auto-complete after upgrade to 16.4

Hello everyone,

I've been part of a development team for years were we customize the webtop according to the needs of the client. We've upgraded a few years ago from version 6.7 sp2 to 7.2 and this year we upgraded again to the version 16.4.

The upgrade went well with some minor changes in the code but now we've got a problem with auto-complete.

Before, in version 7.2, a user would enter the customized webtop and when started to write in a text box it would give suggestions and would save the new values for future logins, future sessions.

Today the only time the auto-complete works is in the current session, it will save the values used by the user in that session. After logout, the next time the user login the auto-complete will not give any suggestion until new values are insert by the user in that session.

In our team we think there is a problem saving the .preferences and .autocomplete files, but we can't be sure and i would like to know if someone had the same problem or if you have any clue where to look at.
