    I have created object type in composer, I need this to be freezed for all the documents in particular cabinet in webtop. I have created a new cabinet. Do I need to create custom xml file in app server?? Does this need webtop restart??

    Yes, you need to create custom xml to customize jsp to extend import component. In the jsp, you can hardcode the object_type for that cabinet.

    Yes, any time you change component definition (ie xml change), restart is required. Once you have defined your component, you can refresh jsp without restarting webtop by using refresh.jsp
