Temporary NRTID

In WorkSite web, through the web services, is there a way to upload a file to worksite in such a way it can store the file and give you a temporary NRTID?

I have an integration where I want to be able to reuse some dialogs like DocProfile.aspx but they require an NRTID, and a target page. I just have a URL which has a very temporary lifespan (and I do not want to import a type of URL, what's stored at the URL for 5 minutes or so is an Acrobat document.)

Nope, there's no concept of a temp ID, you get one when you add a document, and that creates a document record.
