How to repeat table header for each group

Hi all,

I would like to repeat the table header for each group

For example

Customer 1

Order Number Shipped Date
1222 02/12/2007
1788 05/17/2006

Customer 2

Order Number Shipped Date
7889 02/12/2008
8799 12/17/2007

I followed the instruction in the "BIRT A Field Guilde to Reporting" but I can only do like this:

Order Number Shipped Date

Customer 1

1222 02/12/2007
1788 05/17/2006

Customer 2

Order Number Shipped Date
7889 02/12/2008
8799 12/17/2007


if anyone knows about this, please give a hint. Thanks in advance.

Hi hvh,

You should be able to add another row below the Customer Group giving you two group header rows... and move the order headers into that second row.

I created a quick example that shows two different approaches for repeating the headers. One is like I described above with the headers in groups... and the other approach uses nested tables and repeats the headers. Let me know if that helps.

I cannot run your report because I'm using version 3.2.7. Your design is based on 3.2.14.

I don't know if I can do as your suggestion in 3.2.7 version. I'll try.
