decimal points!

Hi, on Birt 2.1, is it possible for me to do something this advance?

I have 2 column, one is currency one is amount, i would like the amount column formated to different decimal places according to the currency column, like eg, if is USD, then 2 decimal, if is JPN, then no decimal. thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks.

In BIRT 2.1 you could use javascript (in the onRender event for your amount element) to apply formatting to the amount element based on the value of currency element.

In BIRT 2.2 you can do it through the GUI. In the layout editor, select the element whose formatting rule you want to modify. Choose Highlights on Property Editor and define a new condition.
