Use Map it to add Google Maps to your BIRT reports - all powered by the data within the report. The Google Maps rendered are live maps. When combined with Actuate Interactive Viewer, you can also filter and conditionally highlight points on map. Can also be used to display color shaded areas of varying densities, as well as standard pins and circles of dynamic radius on all maps.
    <br />
  • Only requires a single BIRT library. No other dependencies. No changes to web files.<br />
  • Mapping services are no longer reloaded on Interactive Viewer event, making for faster mapping experience.<br />
  • Uses native Google Maps pins, or custom images<br />
  • Pins can be any color, and any Unicode character<br />
  • Pins, Circles, and Maps can have colors dynamically controlled via conditional formatting<br />
  • Concept of map item "groups" to dynamically show/hide multiple items with a single line of JavaScript, invoked by a browser event (i.e.: checkbox click)<br />

For iHub3 and above<br />
Please use the Custom Visualization Report Item instead, which allows the visualization to be exported in PDF, Excel and other formats. Here are examples using it with Google and other JavaScript visualizations:<br />
