how to call an exe file using DNR??

Hi All,
Is there any way to call an .exe file using DNR.
I am able to call a perl script through DNR and in that perl file I am executing my EXE file using system command.This is happening.

But I want to execute the EXE file directly from the Open Deploy using DNR and not via PERL file.
I tried calling an EXE file from DNR, it was succesfull but I didnt get any results. PFA the open deploy config file. In the attached file I am calling an iwgetstore.exe file. This command returns the path of the iw-store. But when i run the open deploy config file, it is successful but nowhere I am able to see the path of iw-store.
My aim is to call an EXE file in Open Deploy config file.
Please advice.

Unless the EXE does it's own logging, or you manage to include log output redirection within the script element for the DNR (you might be able to do so, I've never tried) - the output is likely to end up either in some system log file somewhere, if at all.

The only thing a DNR can do that gets indicated in the OD log files is indicate "failure" by sending a specific XML string to STDOUT (documented in the manuals) - other than that, OD pretty much ignores any other output coming from the command being run. And since your EXE is unlikely to know how to send that XML string to STDOUT for you - most people wrap their execution within a script that can test the return status of such a command and "do the right thing"

unless, of course, you are lazy& then you can just run the .exe without any feedback. You will know if it failed or not by the OD return (most likely) - I actually do this with an iwsubmit after I push files up to another server.

Since you need the output, you need to learn Perl and form the return data correctly
