Hello BIRT community,

I am using BIRT 2.6.2 and I found a bug in the rendering of tables.
It happens if some of the groups have set the "Drop" attribute on "Detail".

(We have talked about that setting in one of the topics before. There I have
learned that this kind of setting exist.)
http://www.birt-exchange.org/org/forum/index.php/topic/28850-table-and-grouping/

This rendering error doesn't come everythime but only if the most inner row has
page break and the result is like you can see in the pdf attached here.

It is hard to make the same situation with the classic cars database.
But I will try that later.

Have your ever saw this kind of error or is this error already known. Is it
possible that it is fixed in the newest versions?
Does any workaround exist on this one?

Many thanks in advance for any hint and sugestions.

    Hi Kosta,

    I've never seen this behaviour.
My first idea for a workaround would be to set the Page Break Inside property of the most inner group to "Avoid".

    Hello Hans,

I have set everything on Avoid and als otried other combinations, but nothing new happends. Only If I change the margin bottom so that the pagebreak isnt in the row everything looks fine.
And it doesnt means that always this happends. There were other page brakes in the most inner row but the next page was fine.

I posted this case here but I have found/made other solution by not using the drop=detail feature. I have decribe that in the other tiket.

    Many thanks for the answer.

    <p>Hello BIRT community,</p>
    <p> </p>
<p>There is also an problem with the drop=detail on a detail cell when the rows of the dropped cells are too many and a page break is done, so the rows are on the next page (BIRT 4.4.2). Then the rendering of the drop is not working properly (background color is not set, i guess the cells are not generated). An workaround is to set the page break iterval to an value but this is not an option in my case.</p>

<p>Does anyone has solution for this case.</p>

<p>For any hint and information thanks in advance.</p>
