Hi,

Is it possible to implement a script in BIRT that would determine the local default paper size for each end user running a PDF report? If this is not possible then what option is best used as a "standard" when implementing a report within an international company?

Thanks for you help.

 •
Hi,

As far as I know, there is nothing like that OOTB.

I guess the easiest way is to catch the locale of the end user's browser and set the page size dynamicaly (in beforeFactory or (not sure) beforeRender).

The think is, I'm not sure that you can change the page size without changing the masterpage ; maybe you will have to create several masterpages (and store them in a rptlibrary) and switch from one to another depending on the locale.
