LEAP Courier licensing - Limited number of active cases

edited March 24, 2017 in Leap

Hello,

LEAP Courier licensing rules rely on a limit of active case instances:

  • Loyalty Tier: Up to 50 open exchanges per customer site
  • Essentials Tier: Up to 500 open exchanges per customer site
  • Ultimate Tier: More than 500 open exchanges per customer site

For Loyalty and Essentials Tiers, how is enforced this limit?

When the number of active cases is close to the limit, a warning is send to the customer?

If the limit is reached, it's impossible to create a new case instance until another one is closed before?

Or if the number of active/open cases is over the limit, the subscription automatically switches to the next subscription level (Essentials Tier is upgraded to Ultimate Tier)?

    Hi

    Please find answers inline.

    >> Will stop you creating new cases – warning shown to end user trying to create a new case . Although currently we are not enforcing this, it will be enforced in the near future

When the number of active cases is close to the limit, a warning is send to the customer?

    >> The Customer Success Manager is responsible for managing this and letting the customer know in plenty of time. we will be implementing a notification mechanism which will communicate to administrate when they get close to their maximum active cases quota.

If the limit is reached, it's impossible to create a new case instance until another one is closed before?

yes that is meant to be in the design of the product. See first response. although we are currently not enforcing this (to encourage early adopters to use the app more)

Or if the number of active/open cases is over the limit, the subscription automatically switches to the next subscription level (Essentials Tier is upgraded to Ultimate Tier)?

    >>No – doesn’t work like that.
