Docbase creation fails on 16.4 running on RHEL 7.6

Hi Team,

We are trying to setup new Documentum 16.4 content server on Rhel 7.6, During docbase creation we are getting below error.

Opentext says is Documentum 16.4 not unsupported with RHEL 7.6. Any successful installation on RHEL 7.5 or above ?.

Error in docbase log.

    Sounds odd: I always thought expression like "RED HAT ENTERPRISE LINUX 7.X(7.3) X64 OS" means "we support RHEL 7.3 and later".

    BTW, I believe your issue is related to vmware.

  • This is the first I heard that 7.6 is not supported. Any 7.x version should be supported.
    If you have a ticket open with support, they should be able to reproduce and consult with engineering if needed.
