    Hi Vee,

I follow the communication server document and configured all the steps. As per your document that you provided in discussion forum, did the same changes in appropriate locations, but still i am getting the same error and i am unable to connect to the management gateway in exstream.
Could you please help me out in this.

    Regards

    Hi VeeTouine,

    Thanks in advance.

I also faced the same problem what you have faced in the past regarding management gateway connection with exstream. So could you please help me to sort out that issue.

      Hello Murali,

If not done yet, you need to activate the secure mode for the service gateway.

When done, you have to copy your certificate in :
      C:\Program Files\OpenText\Exstream\16.x\Platform\Core\16.x\bin\security\certificatestore\trusted\authorities

      Regards,
      Olivier

      Hi VeeTouine,

      Thanks for the response.

Yes i copied both private keystore and certificate to this paths:

      C:\Program Files\OpenText\Exstream\16.x\Platform\Core\16.x\bin\security\certificatestore\trusted\authorities
      C:\Program Files\OpenText\Exstream\16.4.0\Platform\Core\16.4.0\bin\security\certificatestore\authentication
      C:\Program Files\OpenText\Exstream\16.4.0\Platform\Core\16.4.0\bin\security\keystore\private

Note: From the above paths is it required to delete demo.pfx and demo.crt?

A part from that here i got small confusion, after creating keystore.pfx and mgw.crt files we need to add mgw.crt to the mmc under trusted root certificates right. so while importing the certificate in mmc which path of mgw.crt we need specify there. because we created certificate in the three path like below:

      C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_191\bin
      C:\Program Files\OpenText\Exstream\16.4.0\Server\global\security\certificatestore\trusted\authorities
      C:\Program Files\OpenText\Exstream\16.4.0\Platform\Core\16.4.0\bin\security\certificatestore\trusted\authorities

      Hello,

Personnaly, I just rename the demo files (demo.pfx.bak and demo.crt.bak).
You can add the certificate to the mmc from any path, it doesn't matter.

Did you modify the application.properties file of the service gateways ?

Is there anything in the MGW log file when you try to create the service gateway ?

      Regards,
      Vee
