ClassifyExtract profile - newer one?

edited November 14, 2016 in Leap

Hello,

I noticed that on recent SNAP subscriptions I have seen provisioned, the profile "ClassifyExtract" isn't there anymore but has been replaced by a different process.

Is it possible to have the SNAP profiles updated on my own subscription?

Thanks,

P.

    Hi ,

You are correct that the older Capture Profile "ClassifyExtract" was replaced with a very similar one "SampleAdvancedRecognitionDemo". On your local machine there is a cache for each SNAP subscription that you are a member of and have logged into at least once and is located at C:\users\<user name>\Documents\SNAP Data\H62221104-830e-4ffc-9443-4933b1f93be1, for example. If the folder doesn't already exist, SNAP Designer will automatically create it and place all the sample profiles and other SNAP artifacts in the correct folders. So you may either copy the profiles from newer subscription where they exist to another older subscription where they don't exist. Be sure to copy into correct folder in the proper folder location which would be SNAP Data\H62221104-830e-4ffc-9443-4933b1f93be1\GlobalData\ScanImportProfile, for example. Or completely moving\deleting the folder and a new one will generated with the newer profiles and SNAP artifacts once you log in again to that subscription. Be sure to backup the older Capture System files before creating a new one if there are any files that are still needed. You may always start with a new sample capture system by logging out of SNAP Designer, moving\deleting the folder under SNAP Data corresponding to that subscription, then logging back into SNAP Designer.

    Thanks.
