Receiving job status 'Cancelled' all the time while sending fax programmatically using easylink mess

We are using easylink API to send faxes programatically. Everytime we send FAX, we are receiving back status as "Cancelled". eventhough er recevice status "Cancelled" for the job, sometimes document is getting sent to destination fax number. 

Question:

Cancelled means OpenText tried to send from their job server and timed out? Will they retry?

OR does Cancelled mean there was some error in sending fax from sender (PMC) to OpenText?

  • This is a question for Customer Care. The API is doing what it is supposed to do. The JobSubmit is working and the Status is working.

    Cancelled means the job was cancelled at some point, either automatically or manually. This could happen for a number of reasons and the job needs to be looked at to tell you what is happening.
