OpenText Core Client Login error: "Can't communicate with server"

hi everyone,

I am trying to run the Core Share client on my computer and when I try to click on the Core icon on the Windows taskbar I get a "Can't communicate with server" error (see screenshot below). Can I assume that this related to firewall or antivirus settings? Are there any ports or exclusions I need to make for the client to connect successfully? I am trying to access from my company's network

    For this specific concern, please send an email to [email protected] with all the logs on the the day that you encounter the error. You can find it on your C: Folder > Users > Your user profile > .otcoresettings > logs.

    We will assist you from there as we need these log files to investigate this problem.
