June 26 > UPDATE: Per our incident management team, while the vast majority of Core Share users and tenants were not impacted following the temporary outage, there were a number of isolated tenants and users that continued to experience issues with logging in to Core Share.

NOTE: All administrators assigned to a trial, or full, private tenant of Core Share that was impacted by this issue have been directly contacted. If you did not receive a communication from OpenText, your tenant has not been identified as part of the issue. You can rest assured that your Core Share tenant is fully operational.

The Core Share team has received no reports of data loss, loss of shares, or any compromised private information (email addresses, etc.) and is confident that no such loss should result from this incident.

There are two impacted groups of users and steps to correct the issue:

Private or Trial Tenants of Core Share: For any tenant of Core Share with impacted users, the administrator has been contacted with guidance on any required steps to correct accounts that remain impacted by the issue. If you are a tenant admin and believe that your Core Share tenant has been impacted, you should receive direct communication via email. If you suspect that your tenant has been impacted and you have not received communication from OpenText, please open a ticket or respond to this thread.

Personal/Public Account Users: If you are a Personal tier (free, Public) user of Core Share, a password reset should correct the error you are receiving to the effect of "Invalid credentials were entered" or "Invalid Credentials" when trying to log in. Use the Forgot Password link on the login page at core.opentext.com. If you continue to experience issues, please respond to this thread and we will be happy to assist.
