Identify referenced webtop document

I am trying to find a method to identify what document / jsp page is being referenced when different links are selected within webtop. Is there method that can be used that will reliably show what jsp page(s) are being accessed or have been accessed?

Go to the tracing page

http://server/webtop/wdk/tracing.jsp

Turn on "forminfocomments".

After that you can see all the necessary information in the source code of the page.

try iTrace for WDK. It shows you component definition and all other related configurations.

Thank you both for your replies. I tried the forminfocomments but that seems to give the information on the main form - not related forms (or in this case a modal popup form as I can't seem to pull the source while it is up)

The iTrace so far I am still seeing if it will provide the information I am after, but currently the two commands CTRL+Shift+G and CTRL+Shift+K open the feeds window and a new tab respectively. It may simply be that it does not work in 6.7SP2 but it seems to describe it as it would work.

iTrace provides information about a component. that is, component definition (xml), behaviour class (JAVA, class file), JSP, and resouce bundle (properties file) and any other related information, such as context and etc... see below.

I noticed for some versions of browsers, i.e. IE11, the Ctl+Shift+G doesn't work, but FireFox and lower versions of IE should work. If you need to get information about a popup, the way I worked around this, is to disable popup at your app.xml to open new window in main browser (not as popup), then you should be able to use iTrace to get details.

Thank you again for your response. I guess I need to get a request in for Firefox or a earlier version of IE as we use IE11 and this is not working currently for me. Out of curiosity how did you disable popups ? That may give me another way to identify the form that is being accessed at least till a new browser is available for me to use.

I don't think iTrace works with IE11.

If you just want to check which JSP is loaded, try a different browser.

You can always use a tool like Fiddler (Download Fiddler Web Debugging Tool for Free by Telerik) to see what URLs are being called and the responses they provide.

Thank you for the link. I will try out the Firefox browser first as it has been given approval to be installed on the development server. If I am not able to identify components using that I will see about getting approval for Fiddler above.
