HTML and TEXT Templates

Hi,

Apparently we can comfigure an HTML and a corresponding TEXT-only template for an email. (so the email-client can render the appropriate version)

In the JobSubmit API call, we typically send out insert-data for one-template. Can we send out the insert-data for 2 templates in the same JobSubmit request ?

If yes, then can you please provide an example of this.

You can certainly use insert data in both the text and HTML portions of your input, and you don't need to provide two sets.

If your list contents include (for instance) INSERT1, then you can include the placeholder for that insert - (I1) - in multiple places (e.g. in both the text and HTML portions, or in two places in the same portion).

The system will substitute the values wherever they occur, no matter how many times.

So we specify the names of the two templates that we intend to use in the same API Jobsubmit call ? Or are the text and HTML version , parts of the same template ?

Yes, you would specify both a text and an HTML portion in the same JobSubmit call.
