Fax with multiple documents?

Hello,

I attempted to send a fax message with two documents - one PDF and one TIF - and I received the following error:

No more than one Part with "body" treatment is allowed for faxREACH content

The SubmitId is 17/23/1321613205399.

Please could you let me know how to go about doing this?

The first doc should be the "body", any addtional docs will be "attachment".

This is not working, I did it in the same way as first doc "body" and additional dos as "attachments" .

Actually the problem is with "DocType", for the first document we need to send a PDF and there could be multiple documents and type could be txt, doc, xml,xls or image. if I set DocType as "unspec" then I didn't get any fax and it shows "cancelled/invalid :1 " in myportal but if I specify "DocType " as "MSW" for an addtional MS word doc then I get the fax.

However its working fine with emails with multiple attachments."unspec" is not working for Fax.

Please suggest a solution for this, where we need to fax multiple documents and type could be any type.

Each document that you include should have its own DocType attribute.

Is there a reason you can not specify the correct types for the documents you include?

We are trying to find the way as we have in emails so that we can send all type of document by just specifiy DocType "unspec". Otherwise We have first check for each document for there doctype and than send the fax.

Please suggest if we have same DocType exists for fax.

Sorry, this just isn't supported.

You must specify the DocType for each document you send when you are delivering a fax.

Even though using "unspec" for documents that you send via email might work, it's really not ideal - you should always explicitly tell the system what type of document you are sending.
