unique identifier for destination in JobSubmit

Hi,

JobSubmit allows the same destination to be added more than once to same message i.e i can send the same fax multiple times to the same destination using one JobID. In such cases, how do I uniquely identify each instance of the destination? so that i can map the respective delivery status to that instance.

Individualk destinations can be tagged with an "Item Level Reference" (aka "REF") that uniquely identifies them.  The REF is included in delivery reports, and is also part of the delivery status results that can be retrieved (via either JobDetail or JobDeliveryStatus).

You can specify the ref for an item in a few different ways, depending on how you provide the destinations for your jobs.

If you specify the destinations in your XML, the ref is an attribute of the DeliveryItem, as in this example:

                <Destinations>
                    <DeliveryItemGeneric ref="ref_for_this_item" type="fax">
                        <Address>555-555-1212<Address>
                    <DeliveryItemGeneric>
                <Destinations>

If you specify your destinations via a table/CSV file, then you can include a column titled "REF".
