No Error, but no Job ID

Hi,

  Some recent faxes I have submitted are not returning a job ID.  I am getting a Status Code of 0 (successful), no Status Message, no Status Error List, yet there is no Job ID returned.  Other faxes sent in the same timeframe have had a Job ID returned.  I'm trying to find out why these particular faxes don't get a Job ID returned (and don't show up in the portal), yet don't have an error message.  The only thing I could see is that in the ones that fail, there is a comma in either the From or To name.  But that might be a coincidence. 

These four submits did not get a Job ID returned (and no error):

The comma is causing the issue and you are getting an error back. There are two StatusCode in each JobSubmit Result. The first StatusCode is in the JobSubmitResult and it only signifies if the Submit itself was valid. The second StatusCode is in the MessageResult and it tells you if the Message was successful. You need to check that, if you get back something other than "0" you need to look at the StatusMessage for an error.  You are getting back "field count mismatch" because the comma is generating an extra field and thus does not match the header. Enclose the field in quotes,

"Victoria Yunker, MD"

to prevent that from happening.
