We are sending out an email using the EasyLink API. The email is in HTML format.

We have inserted the same image twice in the email. When we receive the email in Outlook, both the images are displayed correctly. But an additional link is added to the email. This link identifies one of the images as an attachment. How can we get rid of this link?

What happened here is that the two references to the image were both associated with the first one, and the system thought the second image of the same name was unreferenced, so it added the reference to that image at the end, as you saw.

You don't need to upload the image twice if you want to refer to it twice. So if you just remove the second copy of the identical image, this issue will be resolved.
