Images from EasyLink are cropped

We send files to easylink in binary format and easylink sends it back in tiff format. In some cases we found that the images in the files from easylink are cropped at the right end, almost 20 % of the image is cut. We also confirmed that file sent to easylink is good, only the file from easylink has this issue. One of such issue job id is 'xsi_32503477' .

The resolution of the image provided is 300x300, while fax image resolution is 96x104 for standard mode and 196x204 for fine mode.

Your fax was delivered in fine mode, but since the resolution of the input image was so much higher than what is supported for fax resolution, some of the content was truncated.

One approach to deal with this is to change the resolution of the input image to be more consistent with fax resolution (say, 200x200 for fine mode).  This assumes that you have control over the process that creates the image, of course.

There are also some settings on the switch side that can cause the image to be scaled to fit the fax page.  You can contact customer care to ask them to make the appropriate changes to your profile so you can test this out.

Do you have an account set up in the test domains where you can experiment with this?  That would probably be better than doing it in production.  If you don't have one, you can contact your account team to get them to set it up for you.
