Email attachment size limitation

My Portal displays following error

Error Code: J274
Error: Too many bytes in Managed Email document

Two documents added as attachment with the email. size 26 KB and 1.5 MB , is there any size constraint for attachments if yes please let me know the limitation.

Please provide the job number and URL you sent to. Those are not large files. We really do not have restrictions, those would mainly be on the receiving side.

We actually do have some user profile limits on how large a job is allowed to be. Those limits relate to the maximum size of a particular message, the total size of all deliveries in a job, and the total number of recipients in a job.

These limits are in place to help ensure that a sender does not inadvertently send such a large message out that it either causes problems with our systems, or overwhelms the systems of recipients.

If you can provide a description of your application and the size that the messages might be, we should be able to update your user profile to match. A sample job number (as indicated below) would also help us nail it down.
