Duplicate JobID MRNs

I had thought that the MRN number used in JobIDs was unique, but I've realised we have been receiving duplicates for the last year. That is, I have duplicate MRNs received in june 2011/june 2010, and june 2012/june 2011.

Are MRNs reused after 1 year? Can I rely on them not being reused sooner than that?

MRN's are reused, but not on a set schedule.  Depending on which system your jobs are filed in and the traffic run through that system, they may recycle as frequently as every 3 - 4 months.
