user notifications upon user creation

Hi,

My question is if we can switch off notifications to users when they are created.

Either with the API (per user one time), or on the web UI (general setting for all new users) would be useful.

We plan to create a big number of users and we need to do it seemlessly for them.

Just so I understand your question: are you talking about suppressing the emails that go out to new users when their accounts are created, or are you talking about suppressing delivery reports on the jobs for the users once they have been created?

Either can be done, but we just need to understand what you are asking about.

If you are creating users individually via the fax2mail web site, there should be an option to indicate whether or not an activation email should be sent.

If you wish to create multiple users at a time via the fax2mail web site using the Bulk Upload feature, you can include a column in your input CSV file with a heading of "Send Confirmation" (see https://fax2mail.easylink.com/desktopfax/static/en/html/help/dtop_fax_help.htm#Create_a_CSV_File for details). The default for bulk upload would be not to send the confirmations, so you're probably safe there anyway.

Finally, if you use the API to create the accounts, no confirmation messages would be sent; the API doesn't have that capability.
