Error Report Identification

We are setup to receive incoming faxes as well as failed outbound error reports through a push mechanism from EasyLink.

As an added fail safe we will also poll the EasyLink interface for incoming faxes that may not have been received due to connectivity or other issues. Currently we are polling for jobs that have a type of F2M only.

In looking at the various job types of my attempts I see that outbound faxes and error reports are of job type Fax. Is there a way to identify error reports specifically?

I'm pretty sure the error reports are part of the same jobs that would be sending the outbound faxes, so I'm really not sure if there's an easy way for you to tell them apart.

Which API function are you using to review the jobs? Are you looking to be able to tell them apart via a JobList call, or through one of the status calls (such as JobDeliveryStatus)?

If you can provide an example of what you're seeing as an error report vs. an outbound fax, we can take a look and see if there would be a way for you to identify them.
